Snapple

As a member of UNC-Chapel Hill’s team in the 2016 National Student Advertising Competition (NSAC), I was able to produce the following work. The competition challenged each team to pitch a 1-year, $50 million dollar campaign for Snapple. Using both primary and secondary research, my team and I came up with the following campaign, Delight in the Now.

The campaign encourages and reminds people to find joy in the present, no matter how small the moment. There is always an opportunity to Delight in the Now.

Animated Billboards

These animated billboards not only remind you to Delight in the Now, but they point out exactly how you can—in real time. The Snapple bottle acts as a thermometer, with the drink rising and falling with the temperature.

 

Uber Promotion

During the Fourth of July, Snapple would partner with Uber for a special promotion in which riders can trade in Snapple caps for a discounted ride. The digital ad pops up in the Uber app, letting users know about the promotion. The ad also promotes Snapple’s limited time flavor, Lady LiberTEA.

 

 

New Flavor Labels

As part of the campaign, we introduced two new flavors, Ginger Lemonade and Kiwi Cucumber Green Tea, which I created the labels for. The labels follow Snapple’s current label designs, and each label has a short story related to the flavor.
